Power the device off immediately — do not try to turn it on to check if it works, since this can short-circuit wet components. Remove the case and any accessories, and dry the exterior with a soft cloth.

Avoid rice: it does not effectively pull moisture out of a sealed device and can leave dust in the ports. Instead, bring it to a repair shop as soon as possible so a technician can open the device and dry the internal components properly.
